Speak Easily
(1932)|
Proper and naïve Professor Post (Buster Keaton) supposedly inherits a fortune and is convinced by pianist Jimmy (Jimmy Durante) to use his dough to manage a Broadway musical revue -- an idea that has disaster written all over it. Adding to the comedy is a scheming vixen named Eleanor (Thelma Todd) and a gaggle of chorus girls. Will saving his show from complete ruin help Post win back Pansy (Ruth Selwyn), the hometown love he left behind?
