Cancer specialist Dr. David Edwards (Greg Germann) is obsessed with his career and haunted by childhood memories of a distant father and a schoolyard bully. Those memories are revived when he meets Sonny (D.W. Moffett), a patient with a bad prognosis and a worse attitude. As the doctor decides how to treat the unpleasant patient, he realizes that he needs some healing himself in this emotional debut feature from director Jeffrey Phelps.
