"Spiral" is an anime series with a twist: Instead of robots and monsters, viewers glimpse the life of Ayumu Narumi, a man who's wrestling with the fact that his brother has completely vanished. Now living with Madoka Narumi, his sibling's widow, Ayumu is intent on finding out what precipitated the disappearance. As he sets out on his mission, he wonders what this mysterious tragedy might have to do with a group called the Blade Children.
