With tension mounting between Christians and Romans, Jesus's faithful disciple Peter (Omar Sharif) continues his quest to spread Christianity throughout the world. But his enemies are equally passionate about persecuting him for his religious beliefs. Originally produced for Italian television, this epic drama prompted death threats against Sharif, a converted Muslim, for portraying a famous Christian and speaking positively about the experience.
