In the show's first season, Dr. Westphall (Ed Flanders) investigates a string of suspicious deaths; Dr. Samuels (David Birney) teaches Dr. Beale (G.W. Bailey) how to swim; and a pregnant woman holds Dr. Craig (William Daniels) hostage.
