Katia Ricciarelli's soaring soprano fills Rome's Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli in this Good Friday presentation of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater," part of the Jubilaeum 2000 series commissioned by the Vatican. The moving performance also features mezzo-soprano Rossana Rinaldi and the Orchestra Benedetto Marcello, conducted by Vito Clemente.
