When a lunatic escapes from a local asylum, the stage manager of a musical about a mass killer locks his cast inside the theater, unaware the psycho is inside. As the madman sets his sights on the starring role, rehearsal night becomes a bloodbath. David Brandon, Barbara Cupisti, Robert Gligorov and Giovanni Lombardo Radice star in this early work from Italian giallo director Michele Soavi (The Church, Cemetery Man).
