Stalags
(2007)|
Filmmaker Ari Libsker's documentary tells the little-known story of the pornographic dime-store books called Stalags, which emerged in 1960s Israel during the Eichmann trial and depicted tales of female Nazi guards brutalizing their prisoners of war. The books became best-sellers in Israel despite their controversial content, and the authors, some of whom are interviewed here, were eventually accused of writing anti-Semitic pornographic material.
