When wanna-be screenwriter George Flynn (Jamie Kennedy) meets erstwhile teen star Kyle Carey (Loren Dean) at a Tinseltown bash, the scribe sees a chance to launch his career by befriending the actor. But cokehead Kyle's antics soon lead to trouble -- and a half-baked scheme to abduct Faye Dunaway's dog and hold the pooch for ransom. Clarence Williams III turns in a waggish performance as George's inept attorney in this satirical showbiz comedy.
