Stephen King's The Shining

A TV-miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's novel. Recovering alcoholic Jack Torrance (Steven Weber) wants to get his life and writing career back on track, so he and his wife (Rebecca De Mornay) and son (Courtland Mead) move into the Overlook Hotel as its caretakers while it's closed for winter. But Jack must still wrestle with demons within and without when he discovers -- after getting snowed in -- that the hotel is haunted.
