Romance mixes with peril in this adventure tale set high atop Mont Blanc. While flying over the peak with stunt pilot Ernst Udet (as himself), valley maiden Hella (Leni Riefenstahl) spies an observatory and investigates. She falls in love with the resident meteorologist, Hannes (Sepp Rist), who eventually begins to doubt Hella's fidelity. But when Hannes is trapped in dangerous conditions on the glacier, Hella and Ernst rush to rescue him.
