This fact-based story focuses on Molly Higgins (Lori Singer), a mountain climber who joined the U.S. climbing team that attempted to summit the 24,000-foot Lenin Peak in Russia's Pamir Mountains in 1974. Confronted with many dangers along the way, the team also had to deal with internal conflict. The film boasts beautiful scenery, dangerous surroundings and impressive athleticism … so pack your alpenstock.
