Strange Illusion

Strange, indeed! College student Paul Cartwright is haunted by indistinct nightmares about a stranger who claims to be his new father (Paul's real father perished in a freak car accident). When he returns to his hometown, he finds his mother in a relationship with a businessman new to the area. Question is: Is this guy the embodiment of Paul's dreamscape -- a vicious murderer and child molester?
