In this classic sci-fi drama, a mysterious and powerful stranger from Venus (Helmut Dantine) comes to earth on a mission to end humans' obsession with atomic weaponry. Armed with an awesome power, the alien also knows everything mankind has ever learned. The beautiful Susan North (Patricia Neal) loves him and believes in his message -- but it may be more difficult to convince the warmongering leaders of men.
