Stranger in Town

Traveling incognito, Supreme Court Justice John Josephus Grant (Frank Morgan) visits the town of Crown Port, where political corruption runs rampant. To overthrow the crooked mayor, Grant helps honest mayoral candidate Bill Adams (Richard Carlson) with his campaign. As Grant shares his legal expertise and uses his political influence, his beautiful secretary Lucy (Jean Rogers) starts to fall in love with Adams.
