Brian Large directs this Metropolitan Opera production of Richard Strauss's one-act opera "Elektra," starring famed Swedish soprano Birgit Nilsson as the doomed heroine in one of her signature roles. Bonus material includes footage of Nilsson singing "Isolde's Narrative and Curse" as well as a Swedish folk song, plus two radio interviews recorded during different stages of the soprano's long career.
