The harsh realities of class division in early 1900s Dublin play out among an ensemble cast that includes Mary, a wide-eyed country girl; Fitz, a hardworking trade unionist; and the self-righteous Bradshaw family. Based on the novel by James Plunkett, this sweeping television miniseries includes guest appearances by Oscar winners Peter Ustinov, who plays King Edward VII, and Peter O'Toole, who plays labor organizer Jim Larkin.
