After suffering a humiliating defeat on the field, the members of a working-class soccer team believe all hope is lost. But when the mysterious Walter Keegan (Brendan Gleeson) offers to coach them, things start to look up. The new coach is a fierce disciplinarian who drills the out-of-shape players mercilessly, pushing them toward sharpening their skills … and maybe even winning a game. David Wilmot co-stars in this winning Irish comedy.
