Left for dead, barefoot and alone in a field, Adam Stanton (Daniel Kruse) searches the surrounding countryside for help but finds none. Unluckily for Adam, local legend has it that by aiding a shoeless stranger, the wheels of the apocalypse will be set in motion. Anticipating doom, the frightened villagers look to a young girl with supernatural powers to save them, but time may have run out in this thriller set 30 years after the Civil War.
