The reckless exploits of rookie fireman Larry Barker (Norman Foster) earn him high praise in the media but deep scorn among his fellow firefighters, including his boss, who also happens to be the father of his fiancée, Mary (Joyce Compton). But when a raging fire traps Mary in a foundering ship, Larry may be the only one bold enough to get in and rescue her. Bernard B. Ray directs this thrilling drama that also stars Robert Homans.
