In the remote Oregon wilderness, a 50-year drought combined with acres of dry timber threatens to become a "superfire" -- the world's worst case of ravaging fury, with enough devastating force to rival an atomic bomb and the ability to burn 10 square miles in 2 minutes. With an entire town standing squarely in the fire's path, it's up to an elite force of smokejumpers and tanker pilots to provide a thin line of defense from the fiery armageddon.
