On the same fateful day, a police officer inexplicably kills 11 children and a famed horror writer, Thomas Roy (Patrick Huard), tries to take his own life. Although disturbing, no one thinks too much of these events -- until a disenchanted shrink, Dr. Paul Lacasse (Michel Côté), is handed the case. As he investigates the writer's past, Lacasse finds a link between the two bizarre incidents and is soon caught in a series of dangerous events.
