Surf Crazy

  (1959)
Before hangin' 10 became a national craze in the 1960s, famed surfer and filmmaker Bruce Brown took a group of hardy long-boarders to discover virgin territory on Mexico's Pacific coast. Besides going South of the Border, this 1959 documentary follows Brown and his band of wave riders -- including Joey Cabell and Donald Takayama -- to California's Rincon and Cottons beaches and to Hawaii's Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach.
