Raised as a petty thief on the streets of Bombay, Hare Mohon (Dev Anand) has known nothing but dishonesty all his life. But when a holy man takes him to America, he finds spiritualism and adopts the moniker "Swami Dada." Now, on a journey back to India, he vows to repent his criminal sins by converting his former associates into righteous and good-hearted beings. Mithun Chakraborty, Rati Agnihotri and Padmini Kolhapure co-star.
