To provide their son with a first-class education, Swami (Manoj Bajpai) and his wife, Radha (Juhi Chawla), give up their simple village life and relocate to Mumbai, where they happily manage to scrape by. All that changes, though, when Radha falls gravely ill. Her dying wish is to assure their son's future by sending him to America, but with resources stretched to the limit, can Swami manage to fulfill his wife's dearest dream?
