Once a popular destination, the Lorraine Hotel in the Catskill Mountains is now old and in need of serious repair. As she considers closing up for good, hotel owner Lillian Garber (Maureen Stapleton) is determined to make this (possibly last) season memorable. Friendships and relationships between hotel staff members take center stage in this warm comedy, which also stars Trini Alvarado and Giancarlo Esposito.
