When a power-hungry court official (Shun Lau) steals a manuscript that holds the secrets to martial-arts invincibility, honorable young swordsman Ling Wu Chung (Samuel Hui) and his pal Kiddo (Cecilia Yip) set out to recover the sacred artifact. But secret societies, rogue warriors and others are also after the scroll, leading to a kung fu clash of epic proportions. This martial arts extravaganza spawned two sequels.
