Banking on a hunch that their new client is innocent, two young attorneys decide to represent him in a murder trial. But when he finally makes a private confession, they discover they were dead wrong. This made-for-television movie of the week co-stars Peter Coyote, Liam Neeson and Dabney Coleman (whose role as a slick-talking prosecutor earned him a Golden Globe nomination and won him an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor).
