Dedicated paleontologist Donald Hayden (Peter Horton) is consumed with work, leaving little time for connecting with his teenage daughter, Ally (Liz Stauber). One night, while waiting for her father at the museum, Ally knocks a fossilized egg off a desk. The egg emits strange fumes that cause Ally to hallucinate that she's back in the time of the dinosaurs, setting the scene for an exciting journey through prehistoric landscapes.
