Young tai chi master Hawk-man (Jacky Wu) battles corrupt Chinese officials and outlaws in an attempt to stop the flow of opium into his country. Meanwhile, he's also vying to win the heart of a beautiful and brainy revolutionary, Yueng Wan (Christy Chung), in spite of her arranged betrothal to a high-ranking official. This patriotic Hong Kong martial arts thriller includes plenty of lightning-fast fight sequences and acrobatic action spectacles.
