A plane crash leaves a young physician stranded in a close-knit village where he falls for a beautiful local lass. In trying to oust the doctor from the town, a jealous rival ends up with egg on his face -- but succeeds in separating the lovers. Believing the girl to be dead, the doctor dolefully enters a loveless marriage, unaware that his beloved is desperately searching for him. Kumar, Shyama and Madhubala star in this 1951 Hindi film.
