After losing his mother in a tragic confrontation with a pack of hunting dogs, a brave young otter named Tarka must fend for himself in a world rife with danger and possibility, in this classic family film based on the novel by Henry Williamson. Tarka matures to have a family of his own, but he ultimately must face his greatest fear: Dreadlock, the hound who killed his mother. Peter Ustinov narrates.
