A lack of advancement in the male-dominated corporate world makes ambitious career girl Carol (Sharon Cuneta) determined to prove herself an equal. Her life suddenly changes, however, when she meets unpretentious, carefree repairman Tonchi (Gabby Concepcion) and feels an instant connection despite the differences in their backgrounds and social spheres. But their romance hits a snag when she learns that Tonchi has a daughter.
