Unable to bear her arranged marriage to a wealthy man in a wheelchair (Sergio Goyri), the beautiful and passionate Yulissa (Claudia Ramirez) runs away and finds love in the arms of a dashing doctor (Luis Jose Santander). Problems arise when her former husband summons the physician to help cure him of his crippling paralysis, resulting in an uncomfortable living arrangement that forces Yulissa to confront her painful past.
