By taking the highly addictive computer-based drug called "tek," users experience the euphoria of living in their perfect fantasy world. Former cop Jake Cardigan (Greg Evigan) is hired to halt the insidious spread of the mind-controlling substance. But the powers that be have other ideas about Cardigan's mission. This sci-fi TV series is based on novels written by former "Star Trek" actor William Shatner, who co-stars in several episodes.
