This chilling tale from horror master Ulli Lommel is based on the real-life crimes of Fritz Haarmann (Kurt Raab, who also wrote the screenplay), the serial killer known as "the Butcher of Hanover" who murdered more than 25 young boys between 1919 and 1924. Adding an even more gruesome twist to the tale, Haarmann cannibalized his young victims, selling their body parts as meat. The cast also includes Margit Carstensen and Wolfgang Schenck.
