In this series based on the popular Terminator action films, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) must prepare her teenage son John (Thomas Dekker) for his destiny as leader of the human resistance in a future where intelligent machines have decided that mankind must be terminated. As they race to head off the pending apocalypse, they're aided by a reprogrammed robot sent from the future to protect them -- and hunted by robotic assassins sent to kill them.
