Ishaan (Ajay Devgan) and Sunny (Rahul Bose) are being groomed to take over the empire built by Ishaan's father (Amrish Puri) and Sunny's grandfather -- a construction business that's a front for mob dealings. Trouble crops up when Ishaan meets and falls for the lovely Suman (Tabu), who detests violence of any kind. The conflicted Ishaan soon finds himself forced to choose between the love of his life and allegiance to his father and Sunny.
