When ex-spouses Bette Midler and Dennis Farina reunite at their daughter's wedding (14 years after their nasty divorce), they threaten to ruin the event -- by falling in love again! Veteran comedy actor, writer and director Carl Reiner ("The Dick Van Dyke Show"), working from a script by the screenwriter of Mrs. Doubtfire and 2003's Freaky Friday, keeps the laughs coming but never at the expense of genuine, mature romance.
