Following the 25th anniversary of their "big game," members of a high school basketball team reunite to hash over old times and learn just how far each has fallen from their glory days. In the intervening years, they've become an embattled mayor, a high school principal, a shyster businessman, a drunken writer and a retired coach. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, the film stars Robert Mitchum, Bruce Dern, Stacy Keach and Martin Sheen.
