An irreverent reflection on avarice and murder, writer-director Raoul Ruiz's sharp black comedy explores the thin line between insight and insanity. When delusional heiress Livia (Elsa Zylberstein) meets escaped serial killer Pointpoirot (Bernard Giraudeau), the two form an unlikely bond. Soon, Pointpoirot is helping Livia dispose of her absurdly greedy family. A festival circuit favorite, the film was nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
