In the wake of World War II, former WAVE admiral Jean Madison (Wanda Hendrix) is feeling useless and jobless. But her predicament suits an indolent trio of charming ex-airmen (Edmond O'Brien, Johnny Sands and Steve Brodie) just fine; they're only too happy to show her how to relax and have a good time. Unfortunately for them, she's holding tightly to the torch she carries for her wayward boyfriend (Richard Erdman).
