On the first day of a new job selling home-security systems, Tommy Hudler (David Arquette) makes a big sale -- and strikes up a romance with a single mother (Kate Capshaw). But Tommy's success takes a sinister turn when he learns his deceitful boss (Stanley Tucci) is staging fake break-ins on the homes he's supposed to protect, all in an effort to drum up business. Mary McCormack costars as Tommy's smitten co-worker in this engaging black comedy.
