Haroun (Jon Hall) and Kamar (Leif Erickson) are brothers fighting each other for the right to rule Turkey and win the hand of the dancer Scheherazade (Maria Montez). In their royal battle, the brothers encounter a traveling band of performers, a sailor called Sinbad (Shemp Howard) and young prince Aladdin (John Qualen). In director John Rawlins's Technicolor fantasy, elaborate costumes and sets bring a legendary tale to vivid life.
