When two young lovers spend a holiday in Venice to sort out some of the kinks in their relationship, they meet an English-speaking Venetian (not quite by chance, it turns out) who lures the unsuspecting couple to his flat. There, he "regales" them with perverted tales from his childhood and soon draws them into a dark, forbidden world of sexuality and murder.
