Courtship
(1987)|
A woman named Elisabeth (Hallie Foote) falls in love with a young man, Horace Robedaux (William Converse-Roberts), whom her father considers a "wild boy." Against the wishes of her strict parents, Elizabeth becomes increasingly independent … and this during the Victorian Age, when nice girls didn't buck the system! Written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Horton Foote (To Kill a Mockingbird, Tender Mercies).
