Lu Yue directs this drama starring Shu Qi as Xin-Yu, a female member of the People's Army who wants out of her job leading the movement so she can take over the Chinese woodlands with her colleague and paramour, Ding-Guo (Fan Bing). Their relationship is tested by her ambivalence about the work and the attentions of a local activist, Si-Mong (Liu Ye), who doesn't agree with the actions taken by Xin-Yu's group. Will love or politics prevail?
