Three skydivers and their traveling thrill show arrive at a small Midwestern town one Fourth of July weekend and take the town -- a few townspeople in particular -- by storm. In this haven of simplicity, no one seeks thrills by jumping out of planes with hopes of landing softly, or at least safely. But when you're a Gypsy Moth, jumping is how you live -- and how you die.
