Sweet William (Chris Leavins) is a successful young man who returns to his Nova Scotia hometown to attend his sister's wedding -- his first visit since he ran away 10 years ago as an unhappy teen. The family members Sweet reconnects with, and the conflicts that accompany them, spark memories of the reasons he left -- as well as visions of alternate realities, including one in which he hung his 15-year-old self from a tree in the backyard.
