John Cusack stars as honest Wyoming horse rancher Myrl Redding, who sacrifices it all in a quest for justice. When a land baron (L.Q. Jones) erects a tollgate to keep Redding's horses from getting to market, he leaves behind two stallions in lieu of payment. Returning to find his animals near death, Redding seeks legal redress but gets none and, left with no other options, he turns vigilante in this made-for-cable Western.
